Ambulance reportedly stolen from Plateau Valley district
Law enforcement officers in Mesa County are looking for an ambulance reportedly stolen from the Plateau Valley Fire Protection District.
In an “attempt to locate” bulletin broadcast by Mesa County dispatch, officers were told to be looking for a 2004 GMC with a license plate of 358-TDO, which was reportedly stolen “sometime last night.” The message was aired around 1 p.m.
The Plateau Valley district provides fire and ambulance coverage for a roughly 800-square mile area on Grand Mesa, with fire stations in the town of Mesa, Collbran and Molina.
The Sentinel has left phone messages with various authorities seeking additional information.
