Hopefuls line up to try out for ‘America’s Next Top Model’
More than 50 young women cuddled under blankets while checking their hair and makeup Wednesday morning as they waited in line for “America’s Next Top Model” tryouts at Victoria Rose Bridal.
The tryout is cycle No. 15 for the popular reality television show where women flock to launch a potential modeling career.
Wednesday’s event is accepting women ages of 18 to 27 years old who are at least 5 feet 7 inches tall. Contestants must have a copy of their passport, driver’s license, birth certificate, plus a photos of a head shot, full body shot, and swimsuit shot.
The judges are looking for beauty plus personality. Women should be prepared to explain why they have what it takes to be America’s Next Top Model.
The event will take place from noon to 6 p.m.
Not only will all contestants be entered into the show, a local winner will be chosen. She will win prizes from businesses in Grand Junction and appear in the next Victoria Rose Bridal commercial.
