Auditions for ‘American Idol’ to be conducted at Allen Unique Autos on Saturday

Local auditions for the hit reality TV show “American Idol” will be held soon for solo singers between 15 to 28 years old.

Station Fox 4 Grand Junction is hosting the auditions, which begin with registration at 8 a.m., Saturday, July 16, at Allen Unique Autos, 2285 River Road.

The competition begins at 10 a.m.

Three judges from the local music scene will select the winner from the Western Slope auditions.

The winner will be sent to Denver to appear in front of “American Idol” producers at a future date.
