Bikini-clad women help owner break ground for strip club
A little after 2 p.m. Sunday, before a small gathering of friends and local media, Kevin Eardley, 36, hosted a ground-breaking ceremony for his strip club at the corner of G Road and Colex Drive.
“A boy and a dream, I guess,” Eardley said when asked how he got into the business.
Several women clad in skimpy bikinis, high heels and body oil lined up and tossed shovels of dirt during the ground breaking. Champagne was served afterward.
Eardley said he expects the club to open in the spring.
The club, which will be open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. seven days a week, will likely have a cover charge of $5 during the week and $10 on the weekends, Eardley said. Initially, he said, he plans to hire 30 dancers and 25 additional staff.
“We might need more (dancers),” he said.
The club’s parking lot will have 113 parking spaces, and the bar’s capacity will be 185 people, Eardley said.
“I think it is going to do really well,” he said.
The club’s name will be Fantasy.
