Tenacious Brothers Pub, 701 Main St., is open. The neighborhood pub-style bar is located in the former home of the Spotlight Lounge in the same building as the old Cabaret Dinner Theatre.

Bob Helmer, known as “Farmer Bob,” of Alida’s Fruits is featured in a new YouTube video called “Jammin’ with Farmer Bob.” Alida’s sells fresh fruit, fruit dipped in chocolate, jelly, salsa and jams at its commercial kitchen at 3402 C 1/2 Road on East Orchard Mesa and a storefront at 500 Main St. in Grand Junction.

“Who knew making gourmet jams and holiday food gifts would get me started on YouTube?” Helmer said.

The Rural Outreach Clinic has opened at 3096 Interstate 70 Business Loop in State Farm Plaza. The clinic, which helps patients create a treatment plan for diseases of the body and mind, is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and every other Saturday. Alpine Bank partnered with School District 51 Tuesday to present the winners of the ninth annual greeting card design contest. Middle school students from the Grand Valley submitted card designs centered on a theme of thankfulness.

This year’s winners are Cheyenne Gallegos, a West Middle School sixth-grader; sixth-grader Audrey Bissonnette and eighth-grader Erika Meister, both of East Middle School; and seventh-grader Melita Pawlowski and sixth-grader Brianna Hinton, both of Redlands Middle School.

The Glenwood Springs Chamber of Commerce will host its annual open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at 1102 Grand Ave. in Glenwood Springs.
