Attack on woman alleged

A 29-year-old Fruita man was in court Tuesday, accused of felony assault for allegedly attacking a woman with whom he was in a relationship in the parking lot of Mind Springs Health on Monday night.

Michael Clough was advised on a possible second-degree assault with intent to cause bodily injury by strangulation, after staff at Mind Springs told police they saw Clough on top of the woman during a struggle outside the facility, at 515 28¾ Road. The alleged victim told police Clough “caused her to lose consciousness” and “threatened to shoot her or himself,” according to an arrest affidavit.

He was issued a $1,000 cash-only bond, or a co-signed Fast Track substance abuse treatment bond in the alternative, on Tuesday.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Timothy Rowland, 40, is accused of drug possession on April 7.

■ Someone broke into a residence in the 300 block of Belford Avenue on April 7 and caused damage estimated at less than $500.

■ Michael Knutt, 48, is accused of first-degree criminal trespass of a dwelling, felony menacing, drug possession and drug possession with intent to distribute on April 11.

■ Someone broke into a vehicle in the 2800 block of the Interstate 70 Business Loop on April 12, and caused damage estimated at less than $300.

■ Wade Cox, 45, is accused of drug possession on Thursday.

■ Hailey Erickson, 24, is accused of drug possession on Friday.

■ Someone broke into a vehicle in the 600 block of West Indian Creek Drive on Thursday and stole property valued at less than $750.

■ Jamie Rivera, 35, was cited on suspicion of shoplifting on Friday.

■ Landon Armijo, 32, is accused of third-degree assault, domestic violence and criminal mischief on Friday.

■ Anthony Bishop, 32, is accused of third-degree assault on Friday.

■ Luke Mestas, 34, is accused of theft on Friday.

■ Joshua Trumbull, 31, is accused of drug possession on Saturday.

■ Brandon Galarza, 27, is accused of harassment and domestic violence on Saturday.

■ Jubal Moon, 52, is accused of DUI on Saturday.

■ Jonathon Corbett, 27, was cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct on Sunday.

■ Someone caused more than $750 in damage to a vehicle in the 400 block of north 15th Street on Saturday.

■ Someone broke into a truck in the 700 block of south Seventh Street on Sunday and removed a compound bow and accessories valued at more than $1,000.

■ Crystal Burciaga, 35, was cited on suspicion of shoplifting on Sunday.

■ Bradley White, 23, is accused of domestic violence and child abuse on Saturday.

■ Someone broke into a vehicle and stole property valued at more than $300 in the 300 block of Ridge Circle Drive on Monday.

■ Someone broke into a vehicle inside a garage in the 2600 block of Paradise Drive on Sunday and removed items valued at less than $1,000.

 

According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:

■ Alisha Bowker, 37, is accused of drug possession on Thursday.

■ Bradford Smith, 50, is accused of DUI on Thursday.

■ Someone used a counterfeit $100 bill in the 3200 lock of E Road on Friday.

■ Someone stole numerous tools from the 500 block of Trey Court on Friday.

■ Someone shot 19 times at a trailer in the 2900 block of Redbud Court on April 9.

■ Someone broke into a garage in the 600 block of Pueblo Court on Friday and stole a mountain bike.

■ Alfredo Castillo, 26, is accused of DUI on Saturday.

■ John Wight, 24, was cited on suspicion of DUI on Sunday.
