Gun threat alleged
Three people reported feeling threatened Tuesday after driving up to an apartment in the area of 28 1/2 Road and North Avenue and seeing a white male in his 30s approaching them with a handgun, according to a police incident report.
The suspect never said anything, and the trio said they fled the area in a car. The case was closed for lack of leads.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Richard Germany, 28, was arrested Saturday in the area of North Fifth Street and Chipeta Avenue on suspicion of possessing an illegal weapon. He also had an active warrant for allegedly failing to appear.
■ Darby Clark, 18, was cited Saturday on suspicion of underage possession or consumption of alcohol at 1159 Mesa Ave.
■ Andrew Barnett, 35, was cited Friday on suspicion of shoplifting at 2882 North Ave.
■ David Erickson, 29, was allegedly in possession of less than 2 grams of methamphetamine when arrested Friday for an outstanding warrant at 2144 Elm Ave.
■ Howard Unselt, 54, was arrested Friday on suspicion of violating a protection order.
■ Shane Seuscher, 21, was issued a summons Friday for suspicion of consuming alcohol in a prohibited place at Seventh Street and Teller Avenue.
■ Amanda Lloyd, 30, and Chandra Whitcomb, 37, were cited Thursday on suspicion of shoplifting at Albertsons, 1830 N 12th St.
■ Robert Kitchens, 29, was cited April 13 on suspicion of theft of property valued at less than $500 at Barnes & Noble, 2451 Patterson Road.
■ Melanie Smith, 19, was cited April 13 on suspicion of shoplifting at Mesa Mall, 2424 U.S. Highway 6 & 50.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department did not release jail booking or daily activity reports Sunday.
