Fire destroys fifth-wheel
A fifth-wheel travel trailer was destroyed late Friday night in a fire on the Redlands, according to the Grand Junction Fire Department.
Firefighters were dispatched at 10:51 p.m. to 2536 D Road, with the first units on scene reporting that the trailer was fully engulfed. Crews made a quick attack and contained the blaze to the trailer. No neighboring structures were damaged, according to the Fire Department.
The trailer, which was unoccupied, is considered a complete loss. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ An altered driver’s license was used in an attempt to purchase alcohol at 2695 Patterson Road on March 23.
■ Jacqueline Gustaitis, 31, of Grand Junction, received a summons Tuesday on suspicion of shoplifting items valued at less than $100 from Walmart, 2545 Rimrock Ave.
■ A vehicle was burglarized Monday in the 400 block of East Niagara Circle. Items valued at less than $500 were stolen.
■ Nicholas Devita, 33, of Grand Junction, received a summons Tuesday on suspicion of being intoxicated in the 2900 block of Formay Avenue.
■ Danni McNeely, 24, received a summons on suspicion of shoving a person and causing damage of less than $500 in a home in the 2600 block of Kennedy Court.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department did not release any crime reports Saturday.
