Traffic offenses alleged

Grand Junction police arrested Joseph Maestas, 62, at Unaweep Avenue and Escalante Street on an outstanding warrant Friday. He is further accused of driving while license revoked and as a habitual traffic offender, having an open container of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a defective vehicle and no proof of insurance.

Jasmine Garcia, 18, was cited for underage possession of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia at the same time and location.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Christopher Armstrong, 21, was cited for disorderly conduct and fighting in public at 122 S. Fifth St. on Friday.

■ Karen Reed-Sams, 60, is accused of assault causing pain and injury Friday to a male victim.

■ An item valued at less than $500 was removed Friday from 480 28 1/4 Road. It was later falsely pawned.

■ Items valued at less than $1,000 were taken Thursday from a rented room at 724 Ivanhoe Way.

■ Dennis McHugh, 55, is accused of disorderly conduct at Fifth Street and Pitkin Avenue on Saturday.
