Stolen items rented

An unknown person burglarized a home and rented items stolen from the home for more than $1,000, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.

The items, valued at less than $1,000, were taken on an unspecified date from a residence in the 200 block of Snyder Creek Drive. The burglar then rented the stolen property to a person without telling the renter that the items had been stolen, according to the police department.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■  Zacharie Griboski, 31, was contacted Friday during a traffic stop at 22nd Street and Gunnison Avenue and issued a summons on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, disregard of a stop sign, failure to present evidence of insurance and driving with a suspended license.

■  Someone stole more than $1,000 worth of items Sept. 3 from a vehicle in the 2400 block of U.S. Highway 6&50.

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department did not release activity reports.
