Man given 22-year term for sexual assault of child
A 51-year-old man has been sentenced to 22 years in prison after pleading guilty to kidnapping and sexually assaulting a child.
Andrew Bosch was arrested in May 2016 on 24 counts of sexual-assault related offenses after the now-adult victim came forward about what she said was seven years of abuse, earlier reports said.
Investigators listened in while the victim made a pretext call and Bosch repeatedly apologized for the assaults, which started when the woman was 13 years old.
On Aug. 8, Mesa County District Judge Gretchen Larson signed off on the plea deal, which included guilty pleas to two felony counts, and dismissal of 26 other charges. Bosch will have to serve five years of mandatory parole upon release, court documents said.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Deputies took a fraud report in the 3200 block of Lombardy Lane on July 11.
