Man ticketed for gun
Douglas Radican, 25, was cited on suspicion of prohibited use of a weapon after he was found passed out and intoxicated with a 9 mm handgun in his car at Fantasy, 2258 Colex Drive, just after midnight Friday, according to the Grand Junction Police Department. Radican was taken to Colorado West Mental Health for detox, police said.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ A female reportedly threatened another person with a knife on Aug. 4 at 1044 Ouray Ave.
■ John Lofstedt, 42, was issued a summons Tuesday on suspicion of consuming alcohol where prohibited at Hawthorne Park, 424 Gunnison Ave.
■ James Easterling, 50, was issued a summons Tuesday on suspicion of smoking where prohibited at Hawthorne Park, 424 Gunnison Ave.
■ Property valued at less than $500 was stolen Wednesday after someone entered a vehicle in the 600 block of North First Street.
■ Mario Gomez, 34, was issued a summons Thursday on suspicion of consuming alcohol where prohibited at Hawthorne Park, 424 Gunnison Ave.
■ Items valued at less than $500 were reported stolen Thursday from a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of Belford Avenue.
■ Dennis Powers, 57, was issued a summons Friday on suspicion of trespassing after hours at Hawthorne Park, 424 Gunnison Ave.
■ Vandalism caused damage of less than $5,000 to a vehicle at 749 Winters Ave. The damage was reported Friday.
■ Someone broke into a residence Tuesday in the 900 block of North 12th Street, causing a loss under $100.
■ Van Bomgardner, 33, was issued a summons Friday on suspicion of theft and obstructing a peace officer at Ale House, 2531 North 12th St.
■ Damage was estimated at less than $20,000 after a vehicle was reportedly vandalized while parked in the 800 block of Elm Avenue.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department did not release a patrol resume Saturday or Sunday.
