Glenwood burglaries

Glenwood Springs police are investigating a series of burglaries that have happened in the Glenwood Springs area over the past few weeks. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding the person or people responsible for the crimes.

Those with information should call the Glenwood Springs Police Department at 970-384-6500 or Crime Stoppers of Garfield County at 970-945-0101.

Calls are anonymous and information leading to an arrest may earn up to $1,000.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Thomas Cain, 24, was arrested July 12 in the 2400 block of U.S. Highway 6&50 on suspicion of theft and providing false information on a pawn slip; total property loss was less than $2,000.

■ Tyler Moriarty, 30, was arrested July 24 after a traffic stop at North Third Street and Teller Avenue on suspicion of possessing a Schedule II controlled substance and driving with a restrained license, no proof of insurance and having fictitious plates.

■ Items valued at less than $150 were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 600 block of North 18th Street on Wednesday afternoon.

■ Brian Martin, 42, was arrested and released on a summons Thursday evening on suspicion of trespassing in the 700 block of Horizon Drive.
