GJ police looking for thief

Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is seeking information about a male suspect involved in a burglary between 11:50 p.m. Aug. 19 and 4:30 a.m. Aug. 20.

A white male entered Robert’s Plumbing & Heating at 3196 Mesa Ave. during that time and removed a Kicker brand subwoofer/amplifier from a vehicle. The property and damage loss in the incident is estimated to be more than $1,500. Surveillance video is available at http://www.241stop.com.

Harassment alleged

 

Amy Jill Baudien, 41, 2127 N. 24th St., was arrested Sunday on suspicion of physical harassment, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.

A man told officers Baudien struck him twice Sunday night in the 500 block of 29 Road, according to an arrest affidavit. The man had a red mark on the left side of his neck, according to the affidavit.

Baudien was found in front of Safeway at 2901 F Road after a person reported seeing a woman crying and acting strangely, according to the affidavit. Baudien was issued a summons on suspicion of two counts of harassment related to the 29 Road incident.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Nate Mackey, 30, was arrested Saturday at 1202 Gunnison Ave. on suspicion of prohibited use of a loaded and chambered .380 Taurus handgun while he allegedly had slurred speech and had trouble maintaining his balance.

■ Dustin Ashbaucher, 22, was arrested Monday at 16th Street and Elm Avenue and booked into the Mesa County Jail on suspicion of having an active warrant, abusing toxic vapors and possession of drug paraphernalia.

■ Douglas Martin, 20, was issued a summons Saturday at 1140 Texas Ave. on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

■ Timothy Ealy, 19, was issued a summons Aug. 23 at 1159 Mesa Ave. on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

■ Alexander Aguirre, 18, was issued a summons Tuesday at 1405 Mesa Ave. on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.
