Ethyl alcohol suspected
Celia Vianey Gallegos-Ciggaroa, 19, 104 Polo Road in Glenwood Springs, was arrested early Thursday morning on suspicion of multiple driving-related offenses.
Garfield County Sheriff’s Department deputies contacted Gallegos-Ciggaroa outside Carbondale city limits on suspicion of various traffic violations, according to a report.
After an investigation, she was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of ethyl alcohol, obstructing a peace officer, failing to drive in a single lane, driving with a license under restraint, eluding a police officer, failing to provide proof of insurance and driving with obstructed vision.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Christian Russell, 21, and Zechariah Williams, 42, were issued summonses Aug. 23 at 25 1/2 and Patterson roads on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.
■ Kelli Murphy, 25, was issued a summons on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia Aug. 23 in the 700 block of Chipeta Avenue, after being contacted as a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation.
■ Johnny Brzovskis, 52, was issued a summons Tuesday morning in the 1000 block of Mesa Avenue on suspicion of trespassing.
■ Shannon Gass, 43, was issued a summons Tuesday evening at 28 Road and North Avenue on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and displaying expired plates.
■ Property valued at less than $300 was stolen Tuesday night from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of East Niagara Circle.
■ Shelly Higgins, 38, was issued a summons Wednesday morning at Niagara Circle and 28 1/4 Road on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and disregarding a stop sign.
■ Gregory Debusk, 42, was issued a summons Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of being drunk in the roadway at Fourth Street and Pitkin Avenue.
■ Personal identifying information was used to pass fraudulent documents Tuesday morning in the 2400 block of F 1/4 Road, causing a loss of more than $5,000.
■ A thief entered a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of North Avenue on Wednesday morning and took property, causing a loss of less than $5,000.
■ Cody Baxter, 20, was issued a summons Wednesday night at Glenwood and Cannell avenues on suspicion of being a minor in possession of marijuana.
■ Chad Boyd, 50, was issued a summons Wednesday night on suspicion of trespassing at Whitman Park.
