Man arrested for taking his wife’s overnight bag
Ricardo Gonzalez was arrested on suspicion of second-degree criminal mischief, tampering and domestic violence after taking his wife’s overnight bag “for no reason but to cause her annoyance,” according to the Grand Junction Police Department. The incident occurred Saturday in the 3000 block of Prickly Pear Drive.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Kristie McNeeley, 37, was contacted by police in the 700 block of Horizon Drive on July 9. She was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a police officer, drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and several active warrants for arrest.
■ Two people whose identities are known to police are suspected of multiple fraud and theft incidents against a business in the 2200 block of G Road.
■ Bobby Phillips, 24, was arrested Friday on suspicion of threatening a man with a knife and assault in the 700 block of Horizon Drive. Victoria Powers, 23, was arrested in the incident on suspicion of assaulting two victims.
■ Items valued at less than $50 were taken from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Sandalwood Court on Thursday.
■ Someone forced a person into the back of a vehicle and while using a weapon, removed the victim’s wallet. The victim was robbed of less than $500 in the 900 block of Main Street on Saturday.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ A stolen vehicle was located in the desert on Wednesday. Deputies assisted the Grand Junction Police Department in processing the vehicle for evidence.
■ Deputies were called to the 500 block of Jay Lee Street for a cardiac arrest call on Wednesday.
■ Joseph Wright, 22, was arrested July 24 in the 3200 block of White Avenue on suspicion of theft from an at-risk adult, theft and pawn slip crimes.
■ Garrett Carr, 59, was arrested Wednesday in the 3200 block of F¼ Road on suspicion prohibited use of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
■ Deputies were advised of an auto theft in the 400 block of 32 Road.
According to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Kelly Miguel, 50, is accused of identity theft Friday.
■ John Arcos, 26, is accused of drug possession and open alcohol container in a vehicle on Saturday.
■ Jordan Lewis, 27, is accused of eluding, driving under the influence and other offenses Saturday.
■ Carlos Escobar-Requeno, 32, is accused of driving under the influence and other offenses Sunday.
■ Anthony James Benham, 45, is accused of assaulting a peace officer while in the Garfield County Jail on July 25.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Terrance L. Ireland, 38, is accused of drug possession and other offenses Saturday.
■ Agustin Ramirez, 19, is accused of driving under the influence and other offenses Saturday.
■ Maria D. Ramirez, 48, is accused driving under the influence and other offenses Saturday.
■ Rodolfo Sotelo-Jaime, 53, is accused of driving under the influence and other offenses Sunday.
■ Terry G. Tanner, 54, is accused of domestic violence, menacing, criminal mischief and restraining order violation Sunday.
