Snow gear reported stolen

A man in the 2300 block of Meridian Court reported that he believes a known suspect may have stolen several thousand dollars worth of snowboard-related equipment from his home.

The owner, who reported the incident on Dec. 17, said it may have happened during a party he hosted on June 30.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Amber Miller, 18, was cited Friday on suspicion of shoplifting items valued at less than $100 at Walmart, 2881 North Ave.

■ Andrew Lichtwardt, 32, was cited on suspicion of shoplifting Friday at Walmart, 2881 North Ave. He was later arrested on an outstanding warrant.

■ Two juvenile males were cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct Friday after a fight at Grand Junction High School, 1400 N. Fifth St.

■ Christopher Chesney, 33, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of being an accessory to a crime. He allegedly aided a person with a felony warrant at 529 Colorado Ave., unit 203.

■ Police were called Tuesday on a report of an attempted kidnapping in the area of 29¼ and F¼ roads. The report was determined to be unfounded.

 

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department didn’t release a booking report or activity log Sunday.
