Meth possession suspected
A Grand Junction man was arrested and another issued a summons Wednesday morning at Clark Auto, 341 South 9th St., on suspicion of various offenses.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department, Patrick Garrett Johnson, 51, 2938 S. U.S. Highway 50, was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and driving with a canceled license.
During the same incident, Alex Schreiber, 30, was issued a summons on suspicion of possessing and displaying a stolen license plate.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ During a traffic stop at Grand Avenue and 28 Road on Monday morning, Anthony Wolfe, 23, was arrested on suspicion of providing a false name; he also had a warrant for his arrest. During the same stop, Lee Reynolds, 24, was issued a summons on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.
■ Someone trespassed an unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of Starlight Drive on Tuesday night.
■ Someone entered a fenced area and an unlocked vehicle in the 2800 block of Patterson Road on Wednesday afternoon and stole items valued at less than $500.
■ Howard Ray Walker III, 28, 3253 Collyer Ave., and Cheyenne Dean, 20, address unavailable, were arrested Thursday evening at the Country Inns of America, 718 Horizon Drive, on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine.
■ Thomas Allen Lintz, 47, 2853 North Ave., was arrested Thursday evening on suspicion of violating a protection order and stealing items valued at less than $500 from Walmart, 2881 North Ave.
■ Someone entered and ransacked a vehicle parked near the 2400 block of Thunder Mountain Drive on Thursday night.
