Woman begins to strip
Four people in a vehicle parked outside of Brown Cycles, 549 Main St., on Friday were alarmed when a woman on the sidewalk began taking her clothes off.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department, Christine Olivaaria, 38, was arrested on a previous warrant of indecent exposure. She was described to police as wearing sparkly boots and having short dreadlocks.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Nicole Sievers, 18, received a summons Dec. 23 on suspicion of shoplifting at Walmart, 2545 Rimrock Ave.
■ Someone cashed a forged check valued at less than $2,000 at a business in the 200 block of North Fourth Street on Dec. 18.
■ A 17-year-old boy received a summons on suspicion of shoplifting items valued at less than $300 at Mesa Mall, 2424 U.S. Highway 6&50, on Dec. 24.
■ Michael Byers, 39, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant after being contacted in the area of Bogart Lane and Rimrock Avenue.
■ Dorothy McClary, 40, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of assaulting two people, damaging property, threatening a person with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and being in possession of drugs.
■ Richard Power, 28, received a summons on suspicion of shoplifting items valued at less than $100 at a business in the Grand Mesa Center, 2464 U.S. Highway 6&50.
■ Preston Sanders, 56, received a summons Thursday on suspicion of harassment in the 2700 block of Skyline Court.
■ Margie Ruiz, 47, received a summons Friday on suspicion of shoplifting at Mesa Mall, 2454 U.S. Highway 6&50.
■ Chance Gordon, 24, received a summons Friday on suspicion of criminal mischief after items valued at less than $500 were damaged at a home in the 2400 block of West Independent Avenue.
■ Liliana Sota, 18, received a summons on suspicion of driving under restraint after being contacted Friday in the area of First Street and West Sherwood Avenue.
■ David Howerton, 30, received a summons Saturday on suspicion of driving under revocation after being contacted Saturday in the area of North Avenue and Seventh Street.
■ Phillip Andrew Fry, 26, was arrested Saturday in the 500 block of Main Street after being the at-fault driver in a crash. Fry was arrested on suspicion of criminal impersonation, driving with a restrained license and following a vehicle too closely.
■ Garrett Emerson, 22, was arrested on a warrant Saturday and faces charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia after being contacted at an apartment in the 800 block of White Avenue.
■ Patricia Tobin, 66, received a summons Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving in the area of North Avenue and Seventh Street.
■ Ky Bradley, 23, received a summons Sunday on suspicion of having a disorderly house after being contacted in the 400 block of North Sun Court and having a party with minors drinking alcohol. Two minors received summonses for being in possession of alcohol.
■ Tyler Sackse, 26, and Jesse Williams, 29, were arrested after a traffic stop Sunday in the area of Ninth Street and Pitkin Avenue. The vehicle was stopped for a defective head lamp and an officer found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Deputies responded to a report of harassment on Sunday after a motorist was confronted by occupants of another vehicle in the Subway parking lot of the Interstate 70 Business Loop. Deputies could not determine who initiated the road rage incident.
■ Deputies responded to a report of a client at the Grand Junction Regional Center assaulting another client. Deputies determined no charges will be filed.
■ Brandon Paul Tatom, 22, was arrested Dec. 24 after a traffic stop in the area of 12th Street and North Avenue on suspicion of drug possession and drug paraphernalia.
■ A woman in the 3200 block of C Road reported that electrical wires in her vehicles had been cut. Deputies could not confirm that a crime had been committed.
