False assault report probed

A 16-year-old girl reported Nov. 27 she was sexually assaulted, but investigators later determined the incident never happened, according to the Grand Junction Police Department. The case was forwarded to the Mesa County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Jose Martinez, 27, and Adriana Romero, 21, were cited Monday on suspicion of keeping a disorderly house at 2601 Belford Ave., unit 66.

■ A 15-year-old girl was cited Wednesday on suspicion of disorderly conduct at Grand Junction High School, 1400 N. Fifth St.

■ A 14-year-old boy cited Thursday on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia at Grand Junction High School, 1400 N. Fifth St.

 

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department did not release booking information or daily reports on Saturday.
