Two accused of identity theft

• Two people were arrested Monday in separate cases in which they are accused of stealing another person’s identity, Grand Junction police reported.
Eric Weldon Clark, 22, 550 South Ave., was arrested Monday on a warrant on suspicion of identity theft, second-degree burglary, first-degree forgery and theft of items valued at less than $500.
Vesta Marie Shell, 57, 2853 North Ave., was arrested on suspicion of identity theft and theft of items valued between $1,000 and $20,000.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

•  Someone stole a vehicle valued at more than $1,000 from the 2800 block of H Road on Monday.

•  Someone removed property valued at $1,000 from the 2900 block of Brodick Way on Sunday.

•  Someone stole a vehicle from the 29 Road area north of Interstate 70 on Sunday.
