Armed robber sought

The Bradley Sinclair at 233 North Ave. was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning, with a lone gunman escaping with an undisclosed amount of money.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department, officers responded to the store at 12:35 a.m. Saturday on a report that a man had threatened the store clerk with a black handgun and demanded cash from the register. The man left on foot, according to police.

He is described as a black male in his early 30s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build and some facial hair, according to police. He was wearing dark pants and a white hooded sweatshirt with writing on it.

No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.

The Grand Junction Police Department did not release an activity log Saturday.

 

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department did not release a booking report or activity log Saturday.
