Theft of shooting targets

Bureau of Land Management officials are asking for information about the theft of shooting range targets between Sept. 15, 2013, and Jan. 14.

Sometime between those dates, 3,000 pounds of steel range targets were stolen from the BLM shooting range on 27 1/4 Road. The targets range in weight from 100 to 400 pounds, are 2 inches thick and made of high-grade steel.

Anyone with information about this crime should contact Crime Stoppers of Mesa County at 241-7867. Information leading to an arrest can earn up to $1,000 and all information is anonymous. Go to http://www.241stop.com for more information.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Leslie Iceman, 45, was arrested and released on a summons Thursday evening in the 400 block of Main Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

■ Matthew Mitchell, 22, was arrested and released on a summons in the 100 block of West Main Street early Friday morning on suspicion of indecent exposure by urinating in public.
