Home burglars sought

Crime Stoppers is looking for help identifying the people who forced entry into a home shortly after 9:30 p.m. Dec. 8, 2013, in the 1900 block of Grand Avenue and stole property valued at more than $2,500, including a silver wrist watch, Apple laptop, a 42-inch LG LCD television, a Funai DVD player, a PlayStation 3 and Nintendo 64 game consoles, several video game controllers and games from either system, clothing and a pair of red, white and blue Air Jordan shoes, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.

Call Crime Stoppers at 241-7867 with information about this crime. A tip that leads to an arrest could earn you up to $1,000 in cash reward.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Chelsea Leann Maruca, 31, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of theft of $20,000 to $100,000 for allegedly selling stolen coins from her father-in-law’s coin collection during the past several years.

■ An unknown man assaulted a victim Friday in the 2800 block of Patterson Road.

■ A thief stole less than $750 Wednesday from a place in the 100 block of West Main Street.
