Woman missing since Friday
Grand Junction police are seeking information about the whereabouts of a Grand Junction woman who has been missing since last Friday.
Andrea Thinelk, 27, was last seen at Walmart, 2881 North Ave., where she cashed a check, according to the Grand Junction Police Department. Thinelk told her roommate she planned to buy bus tickets to South Dakota for herself and her daughter. Friends and family say it is suspicious that Thinelk would leave behind her daughter with her roommate for this long without telling her roommate where she is.
Thinelk is an American Indian, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. Anyone who has seen her recently should call the police department at 242-6707.
