Info sought in burglary
The Grand Junction Police Department is seeking information about a burglary that took place last fall at a residence in the 600 block of Miranda Street.
The burglary happened sometime between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 10, 2013. Someone stole a Samsung television, Hewlett-Packard laptop, Toshiba laptop, jewelry, a woman’s wedding ring set, and a bar of silver from the residence. The total loss is estimated to be more than $11,000.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Someone took more than $2,000 worth of items Tuesday from a vehicle parked at 708 Horizon Drive.
■ Christopher Hightower, 31, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of harassment and criminal mischief resulting in less than $100 worth of property loss.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ A 15-year-old girl was issued a summons Wednesday at Central High School, 550 Warrior Way, on suspicion of possession of a marijuana pipe that contained a small amount of burnt marijuana residue.
