West student disrobed
A West Middle School student was issued a summons Dec. 19 on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department, an assistant principal at the school reported that one student had “pantsed” another student. The student who was pantsed told police officers he was standing in a room when the other student pulled his pants down.
The student who did the pantsing was issued a summons.
OM middle school fight
Two Orchard Mesa Middle School students were issued summonses Monday morning on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
The two girls, ages 13 and 14, got into an altercation, according to the Grand Junction Police Department. One girl spit in the other girl’s face, then they began punching each other and pulling each other’s hair, according to police.
Both were issued summonses.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Matthew Barver, 22, was issued a summons Friday afternoon on suspicion of stealing items valued at less than $500 from Sportsman’s Warehouse, 2464 U.S. Highway 6 and 50.
■ Someone stole an item valued at more than $500 from Target, 2424 U.S. Highway 6 & 50, Sunday afternoon.
■ An item valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from the open bed of a truck parked in the 1100 block of North Avenue on Monday afternoon.
■ Alexander Garin, 20, was issued a summons in the 1200 block of Houston Avenue on Monday night on suspicion of marijuana possession.
■ Laura Fishlock, 19, was issued a summons Monday night at Rimrock Avenue and Bogart Lane on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.
■ Property valued at more than $1,400 was stolen from a residence in the 500 block of 25 1/2 Road Monday night.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Andrew Thomas Valdez, 29, was arrested Jan. 7 at the Mesa County Justice Center on suspicion of failure to comply with terms of probation.
■ Deputies responded to a report of identity theft in the 14000 block of North Ouray Court in Collbran Jan. 7; the total loss is estimated at $953.65.
According to the Fruita Police Department:
■ Loy Henrie, 50, was arrested Jan. 7 on suspicion of driving with no proof of insurance and with a suspended license and careless driving.
■ Jeremiah Andrews, 27, was arrested Friday in the 100 block of South Coulson Street on suspicion of hitting several fences and vehicles with his car and leaving the scene.
■ Stetson Hays, 19, was issued a summons Saturday in the 1100 block of E. Carolina Avenue on suspicion of stealing a sign valued at $1 from a post.
■ Chelcie Thorson, 23, was contacted for a cracked windshield and no license plate light Sunday and arrested on suspicion of driving with a revoked license and no insurance, and on two failure-to-appear warrants.
