‘Treasures’ vandalized

Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is seeking information about a burglary that happened Nov. 2 at Mama’s Treasures, 741 Main St. According to police, someone unlawfully entered the property and caused more than $1,200 in damage.

Anyone with information about who was involved in this crime can contact Crime Stoppers anonymously by calling 241-7867 or going to http://www.241stop.com.

Information that leads to an arrest can earn a tipster up to $1,000.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■  Two female juveniles, both 13, were issued summonses on suspicion of disorderly conduct after a contact at 830 Gunnison Ave. on Jan. 17.

■  Marcos Cepeda, 24, was contacted at 490 28 1/4 Road on Jan. 19, and subsequently arrested on suspicion of assaulting two victims with a bottle, causing serious bodily injury. Cepeda is also accused of possession of cocaine.

■  Jacob McCall, 36, was arrested Monday at 182 Sun Hawk Drive, accused of a restraining order violation and having five confirmed warrants for his arrest.

■  Anthony Duran, 43, was arrested and accused of failure to pay child support.

■ Kathleen Babb, 28, is accused of shoplifting from City Market, 200 Rood Ave.

 

According to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Department:

■  William Hutto, 58, was arrested and accused of a protection order violation.

■  An investigation about a counterfeit bill being used is under way.
