Man arrested on warrant
Thomas Parker, 36, was contacted by Grand Junction police at 2912 North Ave. on Wednesday and was arrested on an active felony warrant. Parker, police said, was wanted in connection with an investigation by the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department the previous night on allegations that he eluded deputies.
Parker was also issued summonses on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and driving with a cancelled driver’s license.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Leearra Jean Cordova, 19, is accused of shoplifting merchandise valued at less than $500 from Target on Dec. 30.
■ Jacob Robertson, 23, was jailed Wednesday on suspicion of harassment and causing damage to property of less than $500. Erin Grider, 22, is similarly accused of harassment and also of assault causing bodily injury and damaging the victim’s property at 1315 N. Seventh St., causing a loss of more than $1,000.
■ Two female juveniles were accused of shoplifting at 2901 Patterson Road on Friday.
■ David Johnson, 29, is accused of striking and shoving someone in the 2400 block of Grand Avenue on Friday.
■ Angel Padilla, 23, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Friday. She was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by police in the area of Fifth Street and Belford Avenue.
