Shed and vehicle burn
A shed and a vehicle burned Sunday morning after a possible brush fire ignited in the 2200 block of Mowry Drive, according to the Grand Junction Fire Department.
No one was at home at the time of the fire and no one was injured, the department said.
The fire was reported at 11:19 a.m., and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ A burglar attempted to enter a home in the 1900 block of Rood Avenue on Friday, causing damages of less than $300.
■ Mark Allen Hoover, 47, was arrested Friday in the 2400 block of U.S. Highway 6&50 on suspicion of indecent exposure and two warrants for failing to appear in court.
■ Shaun Gurton, 33, received a summons Friday on suspicion of assaulting a person in the 600 block of Main Street.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Thompson Road on a report of lost property on June 30.
■ Dezyrae Hess, 30, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of drug charges and violation of bail bond.
■ Deputies responded to the 500 block of Fruitwood Drive on a report of a stolen vehicle on Wednesday.
■ Deputies responded to the 400 block of Rambling Acres on a report of a trespass call on Thursday.
■ Deputies responded to the 400 block of Ridge Lane on a report of a runaway on Thursday.
■ Deputies responded to the 600 block of Irwin Street on a report of a sex offense.
