Light annoys neighbor
• Two feuding residents in the 2900 block of North View Drive, northwest of 29 1/2 Road and Orchard Avenue, have brought the spotlight of law enforcement upon themselves.
John Warren told deputies early Sunday that before sunrise his neighbor “had set up a light with the intent to harass him,” according to a report from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department. “The light was a large yard light which was aimed at (Warren’s) home.”
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
• At 7:18 p.m. July 9, four people were arrested and released on summonses in the southeast area of the city on suspicion of child abuse and suspicion of drug possession. Carles Brewer, 28, was cited on suspicion of three counts of child abuse and possession of marijuana; Conan Carter, 26, was cited on suspicion of possessing marijuana; Clint Ford, 27, was cited on suspicion of two counts of child abuse; and Beth Meyers, 26, was cited on suspicion of three counts of child abuse.
• At 8:41 p.m. July 10, Elaine P. Mosqueda, 53, was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from the Wal-Mart SuperCenter, 2545 Rimrock Ave.
