Police seek suspect in theft of wallet from golf bag
Police hope someone recognizes a man suspected of using a stolen wallet at a number of area stores earlier this month.
On Thursday, July 13, someone stole a black American Eagle tri-fold wallet from a victim’s golf bag at Bookcliff Country Club, 2730 G Road. Shortly thereafter, a credit card from the stolen wallet was used by a man at Cabela’s, Target and BestBuy.
Cabela’s security cameras captured a white man in his late teens or early 20s, wearing shorts and a pink Under Armour shirt.
If you know the identity of the person involved in this crime, or have any other information related to the case, you are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 241-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and earn a reward up to $1,000.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Lanelle Lunk, 54, is accused of third-degree assault on Thursday.
■ Patricia Grajeda, 23, is accused of DUI on Thursday.
■ Deputies responded to a theft from auto in the 2900 block of Red Willow Drive on Tuesday.
