Suspect sought in wallet thefts at CMU
Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is seeking the public’s help in locating a woman suspected of stealing two wallets from Colorado Mesa University’s recreation center, 1040 Mesa Ave.
The wallets were stolen on the afternoon of June 6 from a gym locker. One wallet is white with a black owl and the other is a red cloth wallet with a green swirl. Both wallets contained personal identification and cash. Total value of the stolen property is estimated at less than $100.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Tony Dominquez, 28, received a summons June 21 on suspicion of shoplifting items valued at less than $50 at Safeway, 2901 Patterson Road.
■ David Morris, 33, received a summons June 27 on suspicion of assaulting a person in the 600 block of Burkey Street.
■ Officers are investigating a fight June 28 in the 1200 block of Ute Avenue.
■ A 17-year-old boy drove a vehicle recklessly and caused serious bodily injury to two girls on June 30.
■ Property valued at less than $300 was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1800 block of North 12th Street on Wednesday.
■ Jennifer Saulpaugh, 40, received a summons on suspicion of harassment and public indecency in the 500 block of Colorado Avenue on Thursday.
■ Men and boys were involved in a large fight in the 100 block of Chuluota Avenue on Friday and were issued summonses for disorderly conduct.
■ Property valued at less than $50 was stolen from a home in the 600 block of West Ute Avenue on Thursday.
■ Brent Brandon, 54, received a summons on suspicion of being in Hawthorn Park, 424 Gunnison Ave., after the park’s closing on Friday.
■ Christopher Greff, 23, received a summons on suspicion of being intoxicated in the roadway at Fifth Street and Orchard Avenue on Saturday.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office did not release crime reports on Sunday.
