4 arrests, drugs suspected
Three men and a woman were arrested shortly after midnight Friday during a traffic stop in the area of Belford Avenue and North Eight Street, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
Mark Dores, 20, was arrested on suspicion of driving while his license was revoked, providing police with a false identity, and possession of an illegal weapon and drug paraphernalia.
During a search, an officer found brass knuckles in Dores’ pocket and several small baggies in his possession, which Dores told the officer he planned to use to package marijuana, according to an arrest affidavit. Dores also had nine active warrants for his arrest.
Also during the stop, Joshua Reed, 23, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, providing police with a false name and having two active warrants.
Breanna Beyerbach, 18, was issued a summons on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana by an underage person, and Liam Guy-Hamer, 19, was arrested on one active warrant.
An officer found suspected methamphetamine in Reed’s pocket, and Beyerbach allegedly had a digital scale, baggies, and pipes consistent with drug sales, according to arrest affidavits.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ An unknown adult is suspected of sexually assaulting a child June 6 in the northeast part of the city.
■ Jesse Erekson, 22, was arrested Friday at 2931 North Ave. on suspicion of criminal mischief, second-degree criminal tampering, obstruction of phone service, and harassment.
■ Multiple suspects under the age of 18 are suspected of taking property valued at less than $2,000 from a residence June 6 in the 500 block of Court Road.
■ An unlawful attempt was made Thursday to enter a vehicle in the 500 block of Willow Road.
