Baseball backstop stolen

The Grand Mesa Little League reported Saturday that a large baseball backstop, valued at more than $5,000, had been stolen from a facility at 518 28 3/4 Road.

The same league member told police “the backstop had to have been loaded onto a flatbed trailer of some sort,” according to an affidavit.
