Gun startles patrons
Seth Davis, 28, was arrested early Sunday on suspicion on menacing, driving under the influence, and prohibited use of weapons after he was accused of pointing a handgun at other vehicles while moving through the drive-through lane at McDonald’s, 1212 North Ave.
Davis refused to comply with blood tests, and officers found a Glock pistol with a loaded magazine inside his vehicle, according to an arrest affidavit.
Disorderly conduct alleged
Steven Roberts, 26, was cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct after witnesses reported he was intoxicated while holding a toddler during a disturbance at 2601 Belford Ave. Four people told officers Roberts provoked a fight with another person, police said.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Skylar Bell, 26, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of violating a restraining order at 538 1/2 Willow Road.
■ Kathleen Brechtel, 62, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of violating a restraining order, violating bail bond conditions, and false reporting at 751 Horizon Drive.
■ Brett Reed, 30, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of assault at 2601 Belford Ave.
■ Charles Williams, 52, was arrested Sunday on three counts of violating a protecting order and violating bail bond conditions in the 1000 block of Belford Avenue.
■ Someone attempted to break into a car Friday in the 1000 block of Santa Clara Avenue.
■ Stephanie Ambriz, 34, was cited Saturday on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia at 1444 Kennedy Ave.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Curtis Haining, 34, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of having more than 3 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, after being contacted in the 500 block of 29 1/2 Road.
■ Steven Cordova, 48, was arrested Friday on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, following a traffic stop at 10th Street and Orchard Avenue.
■ Melinda Baughman, 35, was cited on suspicion of four counts of child abuse after she was accused of throwing items at her children while intoxicated in the 400 block of 32 Road.
