Man accused of sexual assaults given $250K bond
Kenneth Michael Weber Jr., 35, who is facing multiple counts of sexual assault on three girls, was handed a $250,000 bond by a judge in Mesa County District Court on Monday.
Weber is facing more than 40 counts of sex crimes on children for sexually abusing the girls, two of them over a period of more than three years, according to an arrest warrant for Weber.
Weber was arrested last month in Las Vegas and extradited back to Mesa County.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Someone stole items valued at more than $1,000 from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Bookcliff Avenue on March 13.
■ Someone broke into a business in the 2500 block of American Way and stole property valued at less than $5,000 on Wednesday.
■ A male who is known to police is suspected of having unlawful sexual contact with a person in the southeast part of the city on March 8.
■ Nicholas Chandler Barlow, 23, received a summons on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon after being contacted in the area of North Seventh Street and White Avenue on Thursday.
■ Someone stole a firearm valued at more than $300 from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Hill Avenue on Thursday.
■ Someone broke into a laundry room at a business in the 1600 block of North Avenue, causing more than $350 in damages on Saturday.
■ Someone stole a vehicle valued at less than $10,000 in the 400 block of Rood Avenue on Sunday. Items valued at less than $750 were stolen from a home at that address.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Deputies received a report of a stolen vehicle in the 400 block of Annanessa Drive on March 13.
■ Jonathan Sayers, 30, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of domestic violence, menacing and violation of a protection order in the 3000 block of Grosbeak Court.
■ Deputies received a report of a runaway juvenile from the 2900 block of Redbud Court on Friday.
■ Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Morning Dove Drive on a report of a theft from a vehicle.
■ Vincent Gullickson, 19, and Toaby Plumlee, 21, were arrested on suspicion of breaking into vehicles on Sunday.
■ Michael Stark, 37, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespassing in the 3300 block of South Highland Drive.
