Warrant arrests nab three
Ashton Ryan, 26, Shaye Pierce, 22, and Nicole Beyer-King, 26, all of Grand Junction, were arrested Monday evening on warrants following a traffic stop at 2842 North Avenue, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
Beyer-King, who was driving a vehicle with Ryan and Pierce as passengers, was arrested on three outstanding warrants and new charges of suspicion of driving with a suspended license and criminal impersonation for allegedly giving a deputy a fake name. Ryan was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court Monday and Pierce was arrested on a warrant related to alleged possession of methamphetamine. Pierce had a Kel-Tek .380 handgun at the time of his arrest and was also arrested on suspicion of unlawful carrying of a concealed weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
All three were booked into the Mesa County Jail.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Jaren Ryan Edwards, 18, was arrested Monday morning at 2858 North Ave. on suspicion of possession of marijuana and felony menacing for allegedly pointing a knife at a person.
■ Chad O. Boyd, 50, was issued a summons Saturday on suspicion of disorderly conduct and trespassing after he was kicked out of Baron’s at 539 Colorado Ave. and allegedly tried to return to the property eight times and tried to shove at least two people.
■ Douglas Kaley, 22, was arrested Saturday at 25th Street and North Avenue on suspicion of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and an outstanding warrant.
■ Michael A. Cook, 43, was arrested Monday at 721 Horizon Drive on suspicion of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
■ Chassy Kettle, 27, was issued a summons Sunday in the 2800 block of Hall Avenue on suspicion of third-degree assault.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ A person found a syringe in the 100 block of Gaylord Street and asked a deputy to destroy it.
