Tire slashers sought
Garfield County law enforcement is still on the lookout for vandals who slashed the tires of 46 vehicles in Parachute during the night of Jan. 24.
The vandalism cost about $6,000 in damages.
Anyone with information about the crime is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers of Garfield County at 970-945-0101. Anyone offering a tip that leads to an arrest can earn up to $1,000.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Laurie Anders, 39, received a summons on suspicion of stealing a cellphone Feb. 25 in the 1000 block of Main Street.
■ Adolph Nuncio, 28, was arrested Thursday on a warrant and on suspicion of criminal impersonation and possession of a controlled substance.
■ Bryan Dawson, 47, was arrested Friday after a traffic accident and officers found two warrants for his arrest.
■ Francisco Guzman, 57, received a summons Friday on suspicion of unlawfully entering a vehicle in the 2700 block of B 1/2 Road.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department did not release any crime reports Saturday.
