Disorderly youth cited

Several youth were cited Tuesday for offenses ranging from disorderly conduct to marijuana possession.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department, a 15-year-old boy was arrested and released on a summons Tuesday morning at North Third Street and Glenwood Avenue on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

At the same time, another 15-year-old boy was arrested and released on a summons for possession of tobacco.

Tuesday afternoon, a 16-year-old boy was arrested and released on a summons in the 1400 block of North Fifth Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Several minutes later, a 16-year-old girl was arrested and released on a summons at the same location and on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Justin Medina, 25, was arrested and released on a summons Feb. 28 on suspicion of stealing items valued at less than $300 from 2464 U.S. Highway 6&50.

■ Trevor Mazzola, 19, was arrested and released on a summons March 1 in the 800 block of Bunting Avenue on suspicion of consuming alcohol.

■ Steven Mullins, 37, was arrested and released on a summons Monday afternoon on suspicion of trespassing on railroad property at Fourth Avenue and Riverside Parkway.

■ Vicki Cox, 42, and Daniel Bornschein, 23, were arrested and released on summonses Tuesday morning in the 500 block of 29 1/4 Road on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

■ A 15-year-old girl was arrested and released on a summons Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of shoplifting at Walmart, 2545 Rimrock Ave.
