Spray painting reported

• Images of marijuana leaves and a phallic symbol were spray-painted on a privacy fence in the 400 block of Countryside Lane and several blocks away on a garage in the 3100 block of Sharptail Drive.
Blue and orange paint was used. The incidents were reported Friday afternoon to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

• Property valued at more than $1,000 was taken Friday from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Ranch Road.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:

• A home in the 3200 block of White Avenue was egged between 9:30 and 10 p.m. Thursday.  The home’s resident told deputies she believes her neighbors were responsible, but she did not witness the incident.

• Travis Jackson McCain, 20, was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment Friday after he took his girlfriend’s car keys and placed his legs under her car to prevent her from leaving his home in the 600 block of Zenobia Street.
