Stalking, drugs alleged
A man allegedly found in possession of 14 grams of heroin on Tuesday was advised on an additional charge of stalking, for allegedly threatening his girlfriend’s ex outside of community corrections.
Jesse Erekson, 25, reportedly was found with the drugs — which police estimated at between 100 and 150 single doses — while law enforcement was investigating an incident in which Erekson allegedly threatened to kill a victim, who is a client of community corrections.
According to an arrest affidavit, Erekson followed the victim to a local fast-food restaurant, and continued to threaten the person.
Erekson was issued a $2,000 cash-only bond in his case on Thursday.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Approximately $600 worth of property was taken from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Bookcliff Avenue on April 25.
■ Sean Johnston, 24, is accused of weapons-related charges on May 9.
According to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Deputies took a sexual assault report in the Carbondale area Wednesday.
■ Someone stole a vehicle in the 7200 block of Colorado Highway 82 on Wednesday.
