Meth residue suspected

John Cody Kubick, 22, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant, then issued a summons on suspicion of drug paraphernalia possession, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.

During a search, an officer found on Kubick paraphernalia that contained suspected methamphetamine residue. He was issued a summons on suspicion of drug paraphernalia possession and jailed on the warrant.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ Paul Alex Lavadie, 42, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of assault in the 1200 block of Ute Avenue.

■ Joy Vonguerard, 26, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of obstructing an officer after an incident at 373 Ridges Blvd.

■ Someone stole property valued at less than $500 from a vehicle in the 2600 block of Belford Avenue on Wednesday.

 

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department didn’t release its booking and activity reports Saturday.
