Nobody hurt in Clifton fire
No one was injured when a fire broke out in a multi-unit apartment complex in Clifton early Tuesday, according to the Clifton Fire Department.
The fire was reported after 1:30 a.m. at 3219 D 3/4 Road.
The cause of the fire was not released Tuesday.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Michael Condit, 42, address unknown, was ticketed Friday on suspicion of a sex offense for allegedly showing his genitals to a McDonald’s employee as he pulled through the drive-thru at 2438 U.S. Highway 6&50.
■ Claudia Mercado, 22, address unknown, was ticketed Friday on suspicion of second-degree criminal trespass and harassment.
■ Kenneth Sample, 43, address unknown, was ticketed Friday on suspicion of trespassing in the 500 block of South Sixth Street.
■ Bambi Rude, 36, address unknown, was arrested Mon., May 20 on suspicion of theft of more than $1,000 in merchandise from Walmart, 2881 North Ave.
■ Someone allegedly sexually assaulted an at-risk adult Monday in the northeast part of the city.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Justin Robert Coan, 31, Applewood Trailer Park No. 125, was arrested Monday on suspicion of two counts of possession of a controlled substance, reckless driving, vehicular eluding, driving with a restrained license, possession of drug paraphernalia and other traffic offenses after Coan allegedly ignored attempts by a deputy to pull him over and instead sped off at a high rate of speed in a Dodge Neon. Coan allegedly sped through a busy supermarket parking lot, putting people in danger, according to an affidavit. He was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
According to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Daniel Meraz-Maciel, 23, Gypsum, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of DUI, driving with excessive alcohol content, speeding between 10-19 over the speed limit, open alcohol container in the vehicle and failing to drive in a single lane during a traffic stop near Rifle.
■ Bruce Steuben, 38, Carbondale was ticketed Sunday on suspicion of public indecency.
■ A possible sex assault was reported Friday outside the Glenwood Springs area.
■ Three minors were ticketed Sunday in the Rifle area on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Andrew J. Williams, 28, Montrose, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of prohibited use of a weapon, DUI, and disregard for a traffic signal.
■ Five juveniles and five minors between the ages of 18 and 20 were ticketed Friday night on suspicion of underage drinking at a party reported in the 71000 block of Winchester Trail. In addition, Tyler Clodfelter, 20, of Montrose was arrested on suspicion of reckless endangerment and vehicular eluding, and one juvenile also was ticketed for vehicular eluding.
According to the Montrose Police Department:
■ Eloy Garcia-Torres, 26, Montrose, was arrested Friday on suspicion of assault, child abuse, criminal mischief, domestic violence and harassment.
■ Jeremy Lederer, 31, Montrose, was arrested Friday on suspicion of criminal trespass, resisting arrest and obstruction.
■ A possible sex offense was reported Monday in Montrose. An investigation is ongoing.
