Assault at bar alleged
Kial Kelleher, 24, was arrested and released on a summons April 25 on suspicion of assaulting a security guard at Quincy Bar, 609 Main Street.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department, witnesses and staff at the bar reported Kelleher, who was with a friend, became very drunk at the bar and was cut off and asked to leave. Kelleher refused, according to police, and when a security guard tried to guide her out the door, she turned on him and clawed his neck with her fingernails.
The guard then picked her up and took her outside, according to police, and officers first encountered her when she was throwing up on the sidewalk.
During the incident, Mandy Butler, 31, was arrested and released on a summons on suspicion of failing to report poor patron conduct at a liquor establishment.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Randy Moore, 33, was arrested and released on a summons Monday afternoon on suspicion of shoplifting items valued at less than $100 from Kmart, 2809 North Ave.
■ Garrison Yazzie, 30, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 1200 block of College Place for an outstanding warrant; he also was issued a summons on suspicion of violating a restraining order.
■ Dayzhanaie Threats, 18; Deja Trotman, 18; Autumn Tsosie, 18; and Kalana Peterson, 18, were arrested and released on summonses Wednesday evening on suspicion of shoplifting at Mesa Mall.
■ James Sharp, 39, was arrested and released on a summons Wednesday night at 28 1/4 Road and North Avenue on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.
■ Barbra Canada, 25, was arrested Wednesday night at Motel 6, 776 Horizon Drive, on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
■ On Wednesday night, someone entered a vehicle parked in the 2800 block of Texas Avenue and stole items, causing a loss of less than $2,000.
■ Someone stole property valued at less than $300 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 3100 block of Cross Canyon Lane Wednesday night.
