True Dollar robber sought
Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is seeking information that may lead to the arrest of a man who robbed the True Dollar Store at 2905 Patterson Road at approximately 2:40 p.m. May 18.
Surveillance video of the suspect is available at http://www.241stop.com. The man is approximately 23 to 25 years old, white, thin, has grey or blue eyes and a defined facial bone structure. He is 5-feet, 8-inches to 5-feet, 10-inches tall and was wearing a black or dark blue or gray Columbia hooded jacket with white trim on the neck and sleeves, black gloves, blue jeans and white Converse-style tennis shoes at the time of the robbery. He left the store on foot.
Anyone who can provide more information about the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 241-7867. A caller can remain anonymous and earn up to $1,000 cash for information that leads to an arrest.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Jesse Fears, 29, was arrested Wednesday at 552 29 1/2 Road and booked into the Mesa County Jail on suspicion of possession of a schedule two substance and drug paraphernalia.
■ A man is suspected of unlawfully performing sexual acts on a female Wednesday in the northwest part of the city.
■ Carly Clayton, 18, and three teenage girls were arrested Sunday on suspicion of disorderly conduct at Williams Park, 1435 Mesa Ave.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Jacen Geiger, 31, was arrested Tuesday at 3435 Grand Valley Canal Road on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
■ Deputies and Mesa County Search and Rescue assisted Lower Valley Fire Department personnel Sunday with an injured mountain biker on Horsethief Bench Trail in Loma. The biker was taken from the site by boat on the Colorado River.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Eugene N. Perkins, 58, Ridgway, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, and a special offender charge.
