Hundreds of DUI arrests
The Colorado State Patrol said that crackdown efforts statewide between 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, and 3 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, led to more than 380 people being arrested for driving under the influence.
Police said that a record number of alcohol-related motor vehicle fatalities in October of last year led to the extra efforts this year.
Preliminary reports for this holiday season show that no one died in alcohol-related crashes over the Halloween holiday and subsequent weekend, but seven people died in alcohol-related crashes during October 2013.

■ Felony menacing was committed Nov. 2 at 651 U.S. Highway 50.
■ Jennifer Lopez, 19, was accused Wednesday of shoplifting at 2424 U.S. Highway 6&50.
■ A personal identity in the 1700 block of Crest View Drive was fraudulently used Oct. 28 to wire money out of state, causing a los of more than $5,000.
