Gang leader on the loose

Colorado Attorney General Cynthia H. Coffman said Tuesday that several high-ranking members of the Bandidos Motorcycle Gang have pleaded guilty to charges arising from the wiretap investigation, but the gang leader remains at large. Philip Duran, aka “Bandido Fee,” remains at large after cutting off his ankle monitor and fleeing Denver District Court just before his sentencing hearing. He is considered armed and dangerous.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ David Anthony Brown, 43, was cited on suspicion of DUI on Nov. 15.

■  Mike Brooke Miller, 54, was cited on suspicion of third-degree assault on Nov. 16.

■  Victor Vanbuskirk, 24, was cited on suspicion of DUI on Friday.

■  Robert Sawyer, 54, was cited on suspicion of harassment on Saturday.

■  Someone entered and stole property from a vehicle in the 1200 block of White Avenue on Friday, causing a loss of less than $750.

■  Irma L. Duque, 41, is accused of DUI on Saturday.

■  Tymiya Williams, 23, is accused of second-degree aggravated motor vehicle theft, criminal impersonation, and drug possession on Sunday.

■  Someone entered a vehicle and stole property valued at less than $750 in the 2700 block of B 3/4 Road on Sunday.

■  Jennifer Altamirano-Duran, 30, was cited on suspicion of theft on Sunday.

■  David Morehead, 44, was cited on suspicion of shoplifting on Sunday.

■  Echo Gray Rocha, 32, was cited on suspicion of shoplifting on Monday.

■  Someone stole items from a vehicle valued at less than $1,000 in the 500 block of Hall Avenue on Monday.

■  Dennis McGown, 64, is accused of violating a protection order on Sunday.

■  Someone broke the windows out of two vehicles and stole more than $2,000 worth of merchandise while the vehicles were parked at the St. Mary’s Hospital parking garage, 2635 N. Seventh St., on Sunday.

■ Someone caused a loss of less than $20,000 when a vehicle was taken near the 1300 block of Glenwood Avenue on Monday.

■  Someone stole items valued at less than $5,000 from a home in the 1200 block of Ouray Avenue on Saturday.

■ Kimberly Martinez, 30, is accused of domestic violence-related harassment on Monday.


According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:

■ Crystal Kesek, 35, is accused of DUI, reckless driving, and having an open container of alcohol in her vehicle on Nov. 11.

■ A trailer with two snowmobiles was stolen from the 500 block of Centennial Road on Nov. 13.

■ Someone shattered a window on a locked truck in the 3100 block of F Road on Nov. 16. Damage to the vehicle estimated at about $300 and loss due to theft was more than $1,600.

■ Korb Winters, 43, is accused of burglary and assault on Nov. 17.
