At 3:06 a.m., Grand Junction police responded to 1140 Walnut Ave. but were told the victim had walked across the street to Community Hospital.

The victim, a 22-year-old male from Grand Junction, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. The case is under investigation, and no other details were released.

Vandalism at club alleged

A Fruita man who refused to leave Fantasy Gentlemen’s Club, 2258 Colex Drive, when it closed for the night early Tuesday was taken to the Mesa County Jail after allegedly damaging the exterior of the building.

The bouncer escorted him out anyway, and then watched on a security video camera Hensley allegedly taking a ladder from the club and putting it into his pickup, then tearing down four exterior lights, causing about $1,200 in damage, the affidavit says.
