Extra patrols were requested in Palisade after an incident reported Oct. 26 in which a house in the 400 block of Pendleton Street was toilet-papered, according to the Palisade Police Department.
Police were initially called to the home to investigate what was reported as a suspicious incident.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Thomas Lilly, 50, 2902 1/2 B 1/2 Road, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of felony menacing, third-degree assault and crimes against an at-risk adult after he allegedly threatened his 74-year-old mother with a knife, according to an arrest affidavit.
■ Joshua Rocha, 34, 2849 Morningside Court, unit B, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of attempt to influence a public servant after he allegedly threatened violence against alleged victims in another criminal case if deputies didn’t “figure it out,” according to an arrest affidavit.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Items worth less than $500 were stolen from a parked vehicle Oct. 9 in the 1100 block of Micaelas Place.
■ Items valued at less than $500 were missing Wednesday after someone entered a vehicle in the 500 block of Compton Road.
■ Someone entered a vehicle parked at 2332 South Rim Drive on Thursday.
■ Property valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from 1130 Mesa Ave. on Wednesday.
■ Property valued at more than $1,000 was removed from 222 S. Sixth St. on Oct. 17.
■ A vehicle parked at 909 Elm Ave. was reportedly ransacked Monday.
According to the Palisade Police Department:
■ A door was reported open at the Palisade Veterans Memorial Center, 120 S. Eighth St., which was secured after the building was searched Oct. 25.
■ Officers were called Oct. 24 on a report of a prowler on Fourth Street.
■ Officers were called Oct. 24 to investigate a suspicious vehicle near the Migrant Center. They learned the owner was dropping off items at the building.
■ Several persons were warned after officers were called Oct. 23 about a possible noise violation in the 900 block of Iowa Avenue.
According to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Alvaro Martinez, 57, of Glenwood Springs, was cited Thursday for suspicion of keeping a vicious animal and have a dog at-large at 50627 U.S. Highway 6.
■ Deputies were called to a reported vandalism Thursday at 194 Silver Queen Circle. Damage was estimated at $300.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Juan Diaz, 34, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana after deputies were allowed inside a home in the 14400 block of Marine Road.
■ Ronnie Washington, 33, was arrested on suspicion of menacing, harassment and criminal mischief Thursday in the 700 block of Spring Creek Road
